I'm a youngish Englishman, currently living in London. I'm starting a new job in Neuchâtel next week.

1. I need a place to stay for a few of weeks until I find a good permanent flat/apartment. Can anyone help?

2. Which area of Neuchâtel is nice to live in and not so nice to live in?

3. Which canton near Neuchâtel has a lower tax (preferably within a commuting distance)

My French is basic...I have no luck finding a reliable website. Please recommend a website link or a contact number for a bed & breakfast or guesthouse or someone you know might put me up for a few weeks - I'm willing to pay good money.

I know somone who may still have a sublet studio (bedsit) in La chaux de fonds (30 minutes by train) till 1.05.2011 but mabye this is a bit too downmarket for you.
