Hello all, Californian recently moved to der Schweiz

Good afternoon fellow Americans and other English speaking members,
Came across this site while searching the internet for ways to stream the 2011 Superbowl to my computer here in Altstatten, SG. This site seems to have some good information and useful links to resources and people.

My family and I moved here at the end of last year and have been loving all that the area has to offer.

If there are any outdoor enthusiasts looking for a travel partner, or a family with young kids looking to get together with another family with a young, friendly daughter, please send me an email. Always up for spontaneous snowboarding trip, mountain biking trip, hiking, or other activity...or just taking the family for a walk through Appenzell, cheese tasting, or sight-seeing and learning about all in the in surrounding countries.

Hail from Santa Rosa, California, in the Wine Country of the Northern San Francisco Bay Area. Army veteran. Business manager in the Silicon Valley. Wife comes from Germany and works here in the area.

If I/we can ever help you (and your friends/family) in anyway with finding information, or anything, feel free to contact me.

Best regards, and happy adjusting!

Peter Ensrud

Hi pensrud, nice intro!
I'm moving with my family to Sankt Gallen in a few weeks, and after that I'll certainly be interested in doing some snowboarding / hiking / exploring. We've also got a little english/german bilingual family.

It sounds like there are quite a few forum members in Sankt Gallen or around, so once we get there we'll have to get something organised.
