Hello all
I found this forum by accident five or six years ago, after returning to Switzerland from an expat posting in India (would return there yesterday, if possible). I was then sent to Shanghai, where I found another expat forum which turned out to be highly entertaining.

Sadly, the company folded and I am now back in CH. I remembered this forum and I have already contributed the odd post but it seems I forgot my manners so to remedy that let this be my intro.

I grew up in TianJin, Addis Abeba, Hong Kong and - ah - Switzerland, worked in Colombia, California and a collection of European countries, India and China.

Now I am trying to settle "at home" - it's rather trying after having been abroad a lot.

..... and oh! To all expats enduring Switzerland: believe it or not, there are places a lot worse!
