Hi everybody!

Found this place while looking for pies after a few months living in NZ and coming back to Switzerland craving for them and ginger beer!

This forum looks like a fun place :-)

Pies you can get fairly easily (just ask grumpygrapefruit!), what I miss more are sausage rolls ...

Piece of cake (excuse the pun) might be necessary to get some sausage meat over although you can find it here, puff pastry already rolled out, onions salt and pepper and an egg, 10 mins in the old Aga or whatever and robert is your fathers brother

Yes, we make sausage rolls every now and then (always a hit at the kids' birthday parties!) but it's different to be able to get a hot, soggy sausage roll with a dodgy pack of tomato sauce while you're at the football ... an entirely different experience!!

oh yes, preferably microwaved. we used to get them as kids when we finished in the local pool for school swimming lessons.
