A Scottish Hello. What? Of course there's a dram involved.

Hi all,

I've been scanning the EF for about 18months now, and finally got round to introducing myself, and wanted to say how much you are ALL appreciated for your unique viewpoints on things. Thank you for being such an informative crowd who can always make me smile. I love popping in to see who's saying what. Thank you, too, to the Mods for keeping an eye on it, and sort of generally straightening things out.

I've come here from an especially beautiful, lush, green part of Scotland, so I'll say a special 'Fit like?' to all fellow Caledonians.

As for how its been going here - its ups and downs, much like any place. Overall, I'm having fun and its an experience worth having, even if its not all roses all the time. Home is not all roses either. My advice: Try not to pin all the blame on the Swiss when things don't go how you want them to! At least we've got fellow EFers to join in a rant when we need it, sometimes you just have to let rip.

So good luck to anyone about to come out to Switzerland, or those who are thinking about it, and sending good vibes to those already here.

Its a bit early in the day, but who cares, 'Slainte Mhath' to you all, from MJ

Hello back, I miss Scotland, lovely place with nicely direct and warm folks. Yay, and the sheep and all the knitting and yarn. My friends have a hut on an island there, with a sheep farm, last time I heard of them.

Very welcome indeed! Nice to have you in the Zug area. It's really time for a meet-up what with all the new folks around here. If only I could get off my chair and arrange something - just recently came across a fabulous Indian restaurant in Cham - maybe that would be an idea?
