Nice to have someone who actually reads what we write about looking for stuff before asking the old, old questions again.

Hope you enjoy settling in. Can be a bit confusing sometimes (British understatement). Being in the Romandie you have a slight advantage over us in the German speaking part because of the dialect here which rocks many High German speakers back on their heels when they realise they don't understand a single word of what the natives are saying. .

Lots of EF folk in your region so hope you meet up with some friendly folk soon. I trust you find something to eat soon.

I am also here, in Lausanne, with my husband job, arrived in October and just beginning to feel ok about being a trailing spouse!

I never thought I would manage to fill my time at first but actually I am now starting to enjoy myself.
