New in Basel, looking for friends to take weekend trips!

Hi, I'll be moving to Basel April 1 for a four-month long assignment for my job. I'm hoping to make the most of my time abroad by spending most weekends traveling. I'd like to meet some friends to travel with! Anyone interested in a snowboarding trip mid-April or other trips throughout the spring/summer??

I'm also a Christian and hoping to find a good church that I can attend on the Sundays I am in town.

If you found some friends....just pleaseee let me know how you did it!!!! Im in Switzerland since one year and a half and i still have no friends!!!! Seems imposible here!!!!!!

Welcome! I am new too - from the east coast. I went to school in the Carolinas! Please let me know if you got any good leads on groups or ways to meet girlfriends as I too am searching!!
