Greetings!
Hello!

I just moved to Basel from San Francisco and wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've been here for about a month now and am really enjoy it so far.
I enjoy skiing, scuba diving, sailing and running so any tips on how to meet other people who enjoy these hobbies would be most welcome.
Working on furnishing an apartment so could use tips on where to get decent used furniture / electronics.

Any other Canadians out there?

Welcome to the Forum. I'm glad you are enjoying it here. Take a good look in the Activities Forum as there are quite a lot of folk on here who delight in the great outdoors.

But not yet another Canadian - this place is crawling with them!
I bet they'll all be along later as soon as they realise you're here.

At this rate we'll have to put a stop on coming over soon or the poor Brits will be outnumbered.
