Hi from me. Will be starting my contract in April the 4th to be exact. Cant wait to get to Zurich but also aprehensive as I have no apartment sorted as yet so i am going in blind. Who know's where this adventure will take me. Main hobbies are cycling and scuba diving... I hear there's a big lake by Zurich!!! .
I speak Italian, Ukrainian, Russian and Polish (English as my main) so should get by . Anyways hello to all and maybe you'll bump into me in Zurich.

Regarding the apartment issue - I would recommend on the following Web site:

It helped us a lot when we arrived in Switzerland about 8 months ago. it also speaks English and you have many critirias that you can adjust and fine tune your search.
Please note that there are "Open days" for apartments rental and you should attend and in most cases fill in an application form as candidate for the rental.
Usually apartment are put to rent 3 months in advance and if you plan to stay in a Hotel take into account high costs.
