Re: New in Zürich

Hola Ana,

Como estas?

Unfortunately 'Art' is not a strong point for me, but I am a huge fan of the Basque country (and your FOOD !!!).

I spent 2 weeks there last year (The August fiesta's) catching up with a lot of my old Basque friends I met in Sydney.

Hope you find your feet settling in here.

Welcome to the Forum

Re: New in Zürich

Welcome to the forum Ana

I too love the Basque country and have spent many happy evenings trawling the bars and nibbling Pintxos in San Sebastian.

I was there one Saturday afternoon enjoying the cider festival in the main square when a load of masked ETA guys came on stage to demonstrate. When the square was surrounded by riot police, I made a hasty (but cider induced wobbly) retreat.
