Hi guys

I am a 21 year old Kiwi who will be moving over to Appenzell to live for about a year! I am half Swiss and my family is based in Appenzell.

I plan to learn German at Migros Klubschule in St. Gallen during the mornings and then work in the afternoons with my uncle.

I am really excited but also very nervous because I dont speak German and will be completely out of my comfort zone! So you may see a few questions/comments from me in regards to daily life and living around Switzerland.

I look forward to being apart of this forum!

Yeah I think I will struggle with the cultural shift. New Zealand is so relaxed and not very formal at all. Will be a big change for me. I'm going to have to make sure I understand all the mannerisms of Switzerland before I leave. Dont want to step on any toes as soon as I arrive!!
