Hello I am nearly new as have been reading the postscripts for sometime now in order to get a feel for how things are for those foreign to but have chosen to make Switzerland their home.

I currently live in England although I have had a number of periods staying on and off in the more rural outskirts of Zurich, Switzerland since 2004.

I hope to travel later this year and give myself the opportunity of making Switzerland my permanent base.

I have found the post scripts most valuable and very interesting and now feel I would like to participate and thus contribute to the interesting dialogues.
