Lunch starts at 1130 which still shocks my tummy.
No more elevenses once you're here. Maybe tenses or nine-thirtyses instead.

Hello!

Good to see that Irish people really do exist in Zurich! Lol, I've been here since September and have only met 2 Irish people so far. Must side with you there on the Lyon's Tea...although I've run out and have been reduced to Tetley's!

Best of luck on your arrival to Zurich btw
I moved to Zurich Affoltern on 7th April from Dublin. So its nice to know there are a few of us Irish around

Fáilte go dtí an Eilvéis!!

I moved over from Galway to Zurich in September and haven't looked back. Best of luck with the move.

My advice bring both Barrys and Lyons tea so you avoid unnecessary arguments when you friends come over for tea.

Re: From Ireland to Zurich

Right ladies and gents its time for an update for yee all.

So I've been here almost a month now and overall I'm loving it. The weather is definely helping, the job is going well, and overall the lifestyle and pace of life here is suting me down to the ground.

Overall I've no complaints so far. Charlie Sheen would call this "WINNING"!

Any comments or questions you may have for me would be welcomed.

John

Re: From Ireland to Zurich

Also a newbie to Switzerland - but to Basel - and my god do I miss Barry's tea.....so far so good without taytos and the Irish fry up but will be stocking up on Barry's when I go home next weekend thats for sure. Judging by the amount of people loving Irish tea here I could even get a little black market going on...
