New in Zürich and expecting twins

Hello all,

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say Hi to everyone on the EF and introduce myself.

I recently moved to Zürich. I am Canadian, but moved here from Berlin where I am doing my PhD.

I am expecting twins in July . The EF has already been really helpful in answering questions about moving to Zürich in general and pregnancy related stuff. But I would love to hook up with other mothers or mothers-to-be of twins to find out their experiences, and benefit from their advice (these are our first kids)!

Thanks to everyone for all the great information they have provided on this forum!

Re: New in Zürich and expecting twins

Welcome to the Forum.
We have a couple of Mums of twins on here already - though how they ever get time to go on-line is beyond my comprehension!

There are also links in the various posts on twins about double buggies and such specialities. Probably quite a bit is useful for looking further too. Do it now - you'll never have a chance later!

Re: New in Zürich and expecting twins

Welcome to the forum, im not mom of twins, but almost. I had my first boy and 3 months later I was pregnant with the second . Zurich is a beautiful city and great to raise kids. People is not always warm but you get used and learn to understand them. Hope all goes well, July isnt that far away. Are they boys? girls? both?

Re: New in Zürich and expecting twins

Hi,

Was searching through the forum and saw your thread. I'm also looking for other expectant or recent mums of twins as I'm expecting my own end of January and the questions are starting to gather - reaching full term, being able to work until 35 weeks (which is my current plan), breast-feeding 2 babies at once - does it even work, getting out and about on my own with the 2 little ones?! I guess you're full in the swing of being a mum to twins now. If you're still looking for someone to exchange experiences with, let me know (of course, I can't offer much in the way of tips at the moment - just a sympathetic ear!)
