Cape Town - London - Zug

I have started the slow move from London to Zug. My company has opened a branch in Zurich and I jumped at the chance to join. I moved to London 11 years ago (From Cape Town) and currently work in healthcare communications (Pharmaceutical advertising, PR and medical education)
I am in zurich for 6 days a month until July, when I move over permanantly. then 3 months later my wife will join me and the move becomes permanent. Currently living in a guesthouse in Walchwil, an area I like very much. I plan to get some temporary accomodation from July to October and then something permanent in October.
Not sure what else to say, so I will leave it there.

Nick

Hi Nick,
Welcome to Zug/Zürich and the EF! There are quite a number of social events in Zürich and Zug. Be sure to check out the calendar.

There are several South Africans as well.

Welcome to the Forum - you've lived in 2 of my favourite towns, so hope you enjoy Switzerland as much as we do (my OH was born in Cape Town and we still have many relatives there).

Welcome to Switzerland. I studied at UCT and think that Cape Town is one of the best cities in the world. My corner of Switzerland (Vaud) is pretty good too though.

I have tried to find biltong and droewors here but not found it yet. However there is someone who sells South African wines in the following thread
South African Shops

Welcome! We are currently living in Cape Town, but moving to Zug at the end of June. Would be nice to meet up for a glass of pinotage once you're settled.

Hi Leslie Anne,
Welcome to the Forum and Zug. We live in Baar just next
to Zug. It is a nice area. Let us know if you have questions
about the area.
