Hi there. Have you made the move yet? I am also from Ireland and moved to Zug on June 1 with hubby and 3 kids. Best of luck to you. It's a beautiful country. What part of Zurich are you moving to? Any questions - don't hesitate to shout ! C

Welcome to the forum! I'm pregnant with my first child and we have a Zurich Mamas Google Group going. We meet up to chat and have a snack or drink (non-alcoholic of course!) and now that many of the babies are being born, our focus will naturally shift from cafe to park very soon. If you'd like to join us, send me a PM with your email address.

Best of luck on the move!

Welcome to Zurich!

We're also from Ireland & I'm a mum to a little boy born here 16months ago. We go to the Appletree in Erlenbach each week and would highly recommend it. Check out their website for different groups to find one (or a few!) that suits you best http://www.apple-tree.ch/

There are also some mums groups that meet privately, so joining one of those might also be an option.

There's plenty to do here, so no excuse to be bored! PM me if you want more info on anything,

Gillian

Thanks to all for replies. Hopefully will meet soon. My son is getting pretty bored with just me for company during the day. He keeps trying to 'talk' to other kids in the supermarket..as if to say please play with me
