| | Global Family Moving from The Hague to Basel/French Border
Hi all! My DH has just started a new contract in Basel (Allschwil) and the rest of the family will join him end of June. I have so many questions to ask (where to live, opinions etc) but I'll post them in the relevant threads.
I'm a mixed Singaporean mummy of 3 kids (DD1, 11 in October, DD2, 5 in August and DS, 1 y.o in July). My DH is Danish who have spent more than half his life living outside of Denmark. I left home at 17 and together, we've clocked up quite a trail of expat experience. Now, 3.5 yrs in NL, before that 4 yrs in Surrey, UK, it's time for another move. DD2 is barely 5 and she would have experienced her 4th home by this summer!
We are quite sold on the idea of being a frontalier (?) and would be keen to get in touch with others in our shoes, especially if you have kids our ages.
I'm also an entrepreneur and a writer and loves my social life (ok I love cooking and feeding people! ). If you also need input about Third Culture Kids, mixed marriages, expat life etc, get in touch! Looking forward for friendly replies!
Cheers!

Hello and welcome to the EF! There are a bunch of frontaliers here, hope you settle down easy and relocation is smooth. Check out our search function, or, if you have a question that hasn't been answered already, ask away.
Cooking and feeding people is a fine fine interest!
Cheers, MC.
