Dielsdorf Resident

Hello,

Moved to Dielsdorf from the States to be with my spouse, we are a bi-racial lesbian couple. So far, it's been a terrific experience. Thoroughly enjoying the leisurely strolls i take around the neighborhood (Dielsdorf, Zurich, Bern, Basel, Zug and a few other places). Getting to know Switzerland is quite awesome and i can't wait to get my car next month. I am hoping to make one or two new friends who wouldn't mind occassionally bumiming around Switzerland with me. I am slowly learning German using Pimsleur and Rosetta Stone, but think i need to work on my converstation skills with real people. Social meeting groups are too much pressure for me and don't really fit my quiet personality, no offense to anyone please. I am willing to pay an easy-going and patient tutor who emphasizes converstional German as a way of learning, any recommendations? Please tag me if you'd like to get to know us. Any positive advise greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Hi Aakiwowo

Welcome to Switzerland and the forum.

It's great you are enjoying getting to know this truly beautiful country and learning German as that will definitely add to and enhance your experience of living here.

I can't make any recommendations regarding a private German tutor but ran a quick search on the forum and came across this EF member located in Zurich and Basel, who offers German and Swiss German conversation lessons to clients*.

You can also do a more extensive search for yourself through the Jobs wanted section of the forum for others offering the same service.

Hope that helps and good luck!
