Hi all!
After all these months of lurking on these forums and reading all kinds of useful info I have finally moved to Switzerland and therefore it is time to introduce myself:
I'm Jeroen (that's the Dutch version of Jerome) a 30 year old guy originally from Leiden, The Netherlands. Last Wednesday I finally moved to Zurich where I will be starting my new job, interaction designer at El Goog, on Monday.
I'm not moving to Switzerland on my own as my girlfriend will join me. Unfortunately this won't be until September/October as she can't (and doesn't want to) quit her job on such short notice.
I don't know if I will stay in Zurich. I currently stay in a temporary apartment and I'm in the midst of an apartment-hunt, which is quite hard since because this is actually my first time in Switzerland (except the couple of times I raced through it when I went to Italy). Next to this I found out that the stories are true that most apartments are gone in the blink of an eye, but I have good faith that we will find something nice eventually (currently looking in Richterswil and Wadenswil).
What more is there to tell... I enjoy playing videogames and enjoy sports (surfing and futsal), although I'm painfully confronted that I haven't done enough exercising the last couple of months. Gushing armpits, streams of sweat running past my face when I walk up and down the hills here in Switzerland... gosh, that is something that I'm not used to as the Netherlands is pretty flat. As in... flat flat.

The first thing I'm going to do is check the forums to see if I can join some of you guys for some activities to improve my stamina and make some friends in the meantime
