Moving to Basel in August with a newborn

Hello all, we are moving to Basel in August for my husband's job. I will be a stay at home mum looking after our new born baby girl (who will then be 3 months old).

I am really looking forward to the move, Basel looks like a great place to live and I can't wait to explore! Hope to meet some other parents out there in the same position as me.

Hi and welcome to the forum, im new here myself and am pregnant with my first, baby is due early november, so will be in same situation myself.

Basel Childbirth Trust would be a good place to start - it's a "spin-off" of sorts from the NCT, that doubtless you'll have heard of.

There's several newbie mum groups out and about in Basel - most mentioned here on EF - try the search to pick up some more.

Good luck with the move, and a pre-emptive welcome to Basel.

Hi welcome to Basel, It is really a great place, my newborn baby girl is turning 2 mos this month & im staying at home with her.. I would like also to meet new mommies here in Basel Stadt.. Looking forward meeting you.
