Hi all also from the Bernese Oberland

Hi there,

Just arrived on the forum after being in Switzerland for the past two winters and now I'm finally settling down a little bit with my Swiss partner in Grindelwald.

Back home I was working in the outdoor industry for about five years and have been working as a Ski Instructor over here in Grindelwald. I love it up here and now want to settle down a bit and am planning in the medium term to set up on my own coaching kayaking and canoeing in the region.

I regularly get out paddling in the summer, and miss the sea back home a little more than a little. I spent most my free time back home kayak surfing and sea paddling. Although now I'm looking to get into the challenges of white water kayaking over here.

Anyone interested in learning to kayak or canoe or just get out for a paddle one evening or day off (lakes or rivers) then please let me know.

Cheers and I look forward to participating on the forum,
Dave

Hi Dave.

Welcome to the forum!

It is a beautiful place you have chosen to live.

Good luck with the business.

If you make a social event in the events section, involving canoeing, I am sure we could scrounge up a few keen canoeists.

Welcome to the Forum Dave. Good luck with your company.

According to Glocals this is available in Geneva, has anyone seen it in other places?
