Its my fault for letting her get attached, but I have definately learnt my lesson
Thanks again everyone

Kel | | | | | I think we all have one of them. My son also has his stuffed toy that I dread to think would happen if it got lost.
Hope someone can find one for you.

| | Re: Help needed please So - I found JAMADU!!!!!
(The larger version with the long arms & legs).
He is in fact still for sale on the shelves of our local coop
I'll PM you - can easily nip in and get one and post it this afternoon if your kid isn't "over" it yet.

I got a message that there are some of these stuffed animals in
Coop Eaux Vives 2000 in geneva. (I have not verified this)
As the earlier poster asked, which picture is the stuffed animal she lost?
As it would not be good to get the wrong one and she then rejects it.

| | Re: Help needed please | Quote: | | | | | Wow thanks so much everyone. Yes those pictures are correct. I have emailed coop and they are unable to help due to "not having a business mail order system" their words.
I have spent literally 20 or 30 hours looking for this, I have emailed to try and have one made and I have tried gettting her to look through pics on ebay of similiar ones ...to no avail!!!
Sigh, I cant believe I cant find one
Thanks so much for the help and suggestions
Kel | | | | | Maybe I misunderstand but could you not ask them to have one delivered to a shop for collection? If so, I would be happy to pick it up and mail it to you if they would arrange for one to be in Basel.
EDIT: Note to self to check all of the thread before posting.....it seems Wattsli1 has found the elusive monkey

Brand new one is better than my used one...and unfortunately after searching through the toys I am unable to find the dang monkey granted that was a year and a half ago that we got that thing - I guess my little one wasn't as attached to it as your child was...hopefully one of these kind people can ship it to you and your little girl!

Just one thing though, usually the child recongise an item/person by colour, cound, touch and smell.. so if it is a new one, you might need to impreganent some "smell" into it or it will be rejected!
I have know kiddy getting very confused after the Mum been to hairdresser with a total new look.. they cock their head and not sure in welcoming mum home as they can smell Mum, hear mum but mum looks too different!

Guys,
I just cant express how grateful I am to you all for helping me. There is still so many good people in the world.
I am happy to say someone has found one for me and is going to get it. I am so happy right now, I actually had tears in my eyes when I read the PM. I am not sure if it was the small or large, it was average size, but I dont care hahaa. I can explain jamadu getting bigger while he was away or getting smaller lol.
Again, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

**Disclaimer**
This thread has been brought to you courtesy of the Coop pre-school and kiddies toy department manager who has been personally tasked with disposing of aforementioned furry mammals as his deputy ordered 100'000 units from a Chinese sweat shop instead of the authorized 10'000 pieces.
And you all fell for it ....

A few years ago my niece in the states sent me a paper "Flat Stanley" for her 1st grade project. I had to take photos of flat Stanley at various places in Switzerland. http://flatterworld.com/picture_gallery.html |

at one of the places I worked, there is a teddy with his own passport in the office and anyone goes on holiday will take him, put a stamp in his passport and take a picture with him at a landmark. He is the most travelled teddy that I had known!
