I love summer in Switzerland.. its so green and beautiful even thought the weather has not been very stable lately. (sunny in the morning and raining in the afternoon )
But at least its better than HK when its so humid and I heard it has been raining for weeks now |

Hi I am also from Hong Kong. Been here for almost two years. I know a few HK friends and luckily also know a group of interesting trailing spouse from my German school. I went to the Goethe Institute to learn German before I moved to Switzerland but that doesn't help much still struggling with the speaking etc. How are you settling in? Do let us know if you need any help. |

Hi Nice to meet you! I went to Goethe Institute in Hong Kong too! But same as you, it didn't help... So now I've been staying here for about 3 weeks, taking a German course at Mirgos Klubschule, just sometimes it's quite bored to stay alone the whole day. How about you? What are you doing here? And do you stay in Zurich?

Hi there,
Renting a badminton court in Zurich is eye-popping but speedminton might be an alternative.
There are quite a lot of expat social groups, many in these groups with relatively good command of the German language. You might start with this forum, and then explore the rest e.g yahoo.groups, meetup & glocos (? heard but never bothered to google).
Cheers and take care.

So far I have been to Beijing, Shanghai, Yunnan and Inner Mongolia only. There are still many places to visit!! I want to visit Guilin next time when I go home.
And speedminton seems great!! I hope I would have had one right now!! The weather today is so good! |
