1st post, 3rd year of membership, 4th year in GraubŁnden!

Hi there

Im from Australia and have been living between (renting) Zurich and Bad Ragaz for 4 years now

I recently moved back to my house Bad Ragaz as I am going through a lengthy suspension of my driving license

If anyone is planning to go to Flims or Savognin for some downhill just let me know,.

I would be able to accommodate anybody who needs somewhere to stop over in this area as the house has plenty of room!

Go easy guys. The first post spent twenty happy minutes unnoticed, stuck on the end of someone else's thread before I moved it here, and, trying to think of an apt title, came up with this one.

The poor OP won't know what has hit him when he comes back in a couple of month's time and finds his post moved and welcomes from the famous GG and a couple of members of the illustrious Mod team.

er - Welcome to the Forum (and now there are three of us at it)

I think the OP is wonderful! We're always moaning about noise on the forum - the OP has spend 3 years considering his first post! Many more like him, I say.

Haha very funny tho thanks for the welcomes

Yes, (my) half of Bad Ragaz is a part of St.Gallen, there is a river which defines the boarder; half St.Gallen half GraubŁnden

Re: 1st post, 3rd year of membership, 4th year in GraubŁnden!

umm, but it is a different kind of cold in Graubunden, do you get much sunshine in your part in the winter! The key is definitely to dress up warm outside, look like a Yeti if necessary. I do not ski but enjoy watching the winter sports, have stood outside at the foot of mountain at a bar drinking cold lager beer, the key was to stay in the sunshine, once in the shade time to go inside.
What part of Oz do you hail from? I spent most of my time there in NSW, visiting Melbourne for long weekend before leaving on first visit. Travelled by train to MelB flew back. The train in those days quite an adventure tee-hee.

Aah having once skidded falling and sliding on a road on my bum and hurting my ankle, as my visit that time to Grabunden was only a few days, would not allow myself to remain house-ridden so although nervous of the roads got out to see some of the delightful mountain sights. Will be looking in a brocki for one of those walking sticks with the pin thing at the end.
Fingers crossed.
