More than happy to advise from the point of view of a regular visitor to Switzerland. | | | | | They are in Worthing - I have reassured them that if neccessary I will pay for flights! I'm sure once they get the hang of Skype all will be okay - to be fair I have only had a handful of visits over the last decade, so they will probably rely on me travelling home, rather than taking advantage of holiday options! (They don't travel well, lol)

It doesn't take a lot longer overall but is more expensive. It is a less stressful journey.
With Skype, Facebook etc. it is easy to keep in touch.

You came from a great county too! I spent 3 years in the seventies in W. Sussex in Ferring-by-the-sea, lovely place, have some great friends still there, but the South Coast has changed a lot. I find it is not so relaxed anymore. It is either that or I have changed even more!

Obviously living in Kernow makes me more laid back, lol .

Ah, Brunel...... changed the gauge from London to Bristol in a fortnight, made wonderful Tunnels and Bridges - what ever happened to the good old British way of getting something done, sure a few people died but hey progress......
