English chap considering migration!

Hey there!

It seemed polite to introduce myself before posting exceedingly n00b notes in other areas of the forum, so hey, here I am :-) Currently in the process of investigating a move to Lausanne for a new job there.

Really like the prospect of living in Switzerland but have a range of concerns (primarily around costs etc), but with that being said the fantasy of just dashing off to the slopes during the winter is an awesome one :-D

Anyway, nice to "meet" you!

Tim

Welcome!

The 'stickies' at the top of each forum area will help with most general queries - and if you have a specific question which isn't covered, I'm sure there'll be someone who has the answer somewhere.

And yes - you can afford to live on that salary (whatever it is).
