Hello and welcome to the forum and Zurich!

Best just to go for a stroll through Zurich, since it is small enough for that. Niederdorf, Lindenhof, Bellevue, Chinese garden, Zürichhorn, Landesmuseum, Platspitz, Letten.. and so on...
Tomorrow should be beautiful weather, so go along the rivers, through the old city and you will find all sorts of nice cafés, restaurants, bars and places to be.
enjoy!

Re: New to Zurich

I'm in a similar situation (but been here 4 weeks now).

Felt I'd exhausted the Old Town and the Lake so today I went up to Uetliberg (using the S10 train, which takes about 25 minutes from the central station, runs every 20 minutes and all within the main "10" zone).

It's nickname is "the top of Zurich" and it offers stunning views of Zurich and the lake. Lost of nice (but expensive) restaurants, kiosks etc. You get off the train and then it's about 10 minutes walk with picnic area etc off to the side as you walk up to the towers where you can get the best view.

Re: New to Zurich

At the weekend if the sun shines head down to the lake where everybody goes to see or be seen...
On your way there or back stroll through the Niederdorf, up by the Grossmunster, cross over to the other side of the river to the Frauenmunster, wander through the lanes then back to the Bahnhofstrasse...
Standard summer stuff until you get your bearings and go further afield!
