| Tearley,
Thanks a lot for the advice. I will drop Renens from the list. St-Sulpice was on our list (and highly recommended by my wife's colleague) but I would rather not drive to Geneva every day, so a train station nearby is a big plus. Taxes need to enter into consideration as well. I may ask you more about that when we are having a beer. By the way, did you find a tax advisor to help you ease the pain of double taxes?
Definitely up for a beer! What field is your husband in?

Sounds great. PM us when you'd like to get a beer.
I know some of the young faculty and senior staff also live in Morges and like it a lot. Morges is very pretty and on the train. Lausanne is great too, such a pretty city, especially since you want to be near the train for easy commuting.
Yeah, double taxation is going to suck. Hopefully, we'll get a bit of a break with the tax treaty and the fact that my husband started on the first of the year--at least no mixed incomes over the tax year.
My husband is an aerospace engineer by training but got a job in mech eng. (I'm an archaeologist by training, instead, and finishing my phd at Hopkins, working mostly from CH now.)
