| New in Zurich
Hi everyone,
After reading EF for a while now, I finally registered!
My name is Maria and I'm 23. I am from Romania, used to live in NYC for the past few years and have come to Switzerland through a classic scenario - my boyfriend moved over here and I followed. We are living in Baden at the moment, but will be moving to Zurich in a few weeks, when the renovation to our apartment is complete. I am, of course, looking for a full time job and am willing to take on other jobs in the meantime (babysitting, petsitting, proofreading, etc.).
Switzerland seems like a nice place; hopefully it won't take me ages to adapt! I speak German, but.. oh, man! Wasn't expecting Swiss German to be this difficult! I'm also eagerly awaiting meeting some new people!
