Hi Everyone -

I am not really new to Basel (been here almost a year now) but new to this forum so thought it would be a good idea to post a short introduction.

I moved to Basel last year from California for work and been here since. I am originally from India (born and went to school there) before moving to the US for study and then eventually work.

I was spending a lot of time traveling between the US and Switzerland for work the year before I moved, so when they asked me if I would be interested to move, I jumped at the chance.

For the last year, I have spent quite a bit of time outside of Switzerland, exploring Europe but would love to get to know more about Basel and Switzerland in general.

I am looking forward to getting to know more people in and around the area.

Welcome to Basel! I guess it's not really right for me to welcome you since you've been here longer (I've only been here for about a month), but welcome to the EF. I'm a newbie here, too. Hope to see you around Basel sometime soon.
