New in Zurich
 

Hello my name is Scott and I am from the United States. I am originally from Philadelphia and spent the last 9 years in North Carolina between college at Wake Forest University and starting my career in Charlotte. I work for KPMG in the Financial Services Audit Practice. I just arrived in Zurich last weekend for a two year rotation and have had a great first week beginning my job and exploring the city.

I am an avid fan of American Sports (especially Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies) and enjoy an outdoor and active lifestyle. I am really looking forward to making hiking a bigger part of my life as I see that is a very popular activity here. I would also be interested in knowing if there are any regular pick up games of basketball organized. I also enjoy making the most of the local nightlife scene on weekends.

During my less hectic times, I am also very interested in travelling throughout Europe.

I look forward to meeting some others in the English Speaking Expat community in the near future and will do my best to attend some of the events posted on this site.

I will welcome you to Switzerland despite the fact that you are
an Eagles fan. Hopefully, you will find your stay interesting and fun
here.

There are many social events in the English Forum. Yesterday
was a big one!!
