Yes lets do it then! When? Theres a cheese and wine event next friday which sounds like a good start...
I'm thinking of starting those Migros lessons too, in Nov, are they supposed to be good? Theyre definitely cheap!

I hadn't heard of this Wine and Cheese event, but I'd love to join you! More details!?
I'll be in Lausanne next Friday at the English church helping them to raise funds with my cheese, the local EFers are very friendly and you'll be introduced to all of them, and more. Zymogen has also organised an after cheese event drinks do at a bar around the corner.

Church cheese do

After cheese do drinks

Comedy club sounds cool! Hopefully it's later, I don't finish work until about 7pm. Where is it? Maybe we could meet up before hand and go together?

Re: Meeting with people in Pully - Lausanne

Here's more info, International Comedy Club with JJ WHITEHEAD & MATT RICHARDSON in Lausanne
It looks like it starts at 8, and it's on Rue de Bourg, which I think is near the Louis Vuitton shop (although I can only dream of shopping there!!)... Still fancy it or is 8 cutting it a bit fine?

Re: Meeting with people in Pully - Lausanne

Hey,

I moved to Lausanne to work as an after school tutor in September. I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime (I work between 3-7pm and I go to French class Mon-Fri (9am-12pm)).

It is quite difficult to meet people, but I've just discovered this website too:
http://www.linkaupairgeneva.net/

They do trips etc. as well as meetings.

Let me know if you're heading out somewhere.
Cheers,

Christi

As for the French help, I second the Fluenz recommendation. It's a very good supplement to classroom instruction with other students.

Re: Meeting with people in Pully - Lausanne

Hey everyone!

I moved in here two weeks ago, in Belmont sur Lausanne! I'm really interested in meeting other au pairs/people in Belmont or Lausanne, Lutry, Pully, or somewhere near. I'll be here for 6 months. Dobrapalka, i read you live in Belmont as well, maybe we could meet up for a drink soon?

Would be nice to hear from you.
Greets, Sarah

Re: Meeting with people in Pully - Lausanne

Hey,

I'm new in Pully and would also like to meet people. I'm not sure how many of you would be interested, but would be cool to do an open coffee like events at least every month e.g. first Thursday at 12.30 somewhere in Pully.

Would anyone be up for it?

- Kristiina

Hey Sarah,

I'm definitely up for it and the best place to have a coffe break would be at Pully Migros, which is right upstairs from the station. 2nd of February at 14.00 is good for me

Who else can join?
