Student new to Bern

Hello, everyone!

I'm an American university student studying and living in Bern until the end of August. I backpacked England, France, and Italy in early July before settling in here (been in Bern a week already), and I absolutely love traveling. I'm in the sciences by trade, but I also enjoy the arts and the outdoors (hiked up Gurten today, what a view!). I have never been in a foreign country for an extended period of time like this, so I'm still adjusting to a new lifestyle. I haven't had much time (or any idea how to go about doing it..) to make friends or meet people my age, and I'm starting to feel a bit lonely. So I'm just looking to meet people and read some advice on living here. I look forward to chatting
