Newbie in town ...

Hi everyone

I'm Sandra and from East Anglia in the uk. I met and fell in love with an englishman living in Switzerland. I've been to visit him six times in the last seven months and can say Switzerland is blowing my mind away!! He lives in canton Vaud.

I am currently going through a divorce back in the Uk and selling my house. No job and no ties. The world and future is all there for me, waiting to happen. Strange time of life, starting out again.

I have visited these forums many times, to 'suss' you all out and give a view of what it would be like to move here. I have a few questions and will post, I hope, in the right places.

Welcome to the Forum.

Hope all goes well with the planning. Scenery a bit different around here but I liked East Anglia too. The Tide Mill we visited somewhere or other on one of our trips around there was fascinating.

Check out the 'Last Supper' Thread before you come.

Re: Newbie in town ...

Hi, no he isn't on the forums. He has lived here for 20 years and has lost some of his 'english' ways lol. I don't think he considers himself 'english' any more.

I have certainly had my eyes opened to a different culture and way of life - its good .

Thankyou for your good wishes.
