Happy August 1, all! Seemed like an appropriate day to introduce myself, though I've been lurking timidly for the past few days. So, um ... I'm a dual US/CH citizen currently doing a stint as an in-house translator at a Swiss company based in Zurich. On my own here, sans dog, cat, and kids (who are almost too old to care anyway), and lots of after-work and weekend time on my hands to enjoy my surroundings. I would love to get involved in some friend-making local activities. Hope to meet some of you in person! I'm glad EF is here - you've already answered several of my questions.
