Hi to all (hoi zäme),
I'm a bit disgusted with myself that it has taken so long to have the courage to post, but over a number of (many) years this has been THE definitive forum for anything I, or my friends (both English and Swiss) have wanted to know about Switzerland. Hopefully I can return the (many) favours in time for the wealth of information I (we) have received.

- very thick skin as to avoid emotional bruising
- wicked sense of humour
- remain factual (if one lacks the aforementioned humour)
- talented erudition (there are a few of 'em well worth reading)
- there's lots of teasing to get used to (but it's all kind and friendly)

I'm a complete novice - absolutely no shame attached, been in CH over 20 years and from some of the posts (judging by people's wit and sense of humour) I actually think I've met some of the posters on here (Agglo LU).
