| | Newbie near Basel (Saint-Louis)
Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie here, just signed up to this website. I moved here 3 days ago from the UK and I am living in Saint-Louis, over the French border just outside Basel.
I would love to meet other expat women around my age (31) to meet up for a coffee and a chat! :-)
Hayley

Hello Hayley, If you haven't already found it, you may be interested in looking at the www.centrepoint.ch website. The group have all sorts of activities in Basel that may appeal to you.
Do you have specific interests that you are keen to continue here?

Hey Hayley. Welcome to EF and welcome to the region.
I can't help on the 31/female side, but check out the events calendar. There's often something going on in Basel and there's a few people around that fit.

Hi Hayley
My husband lives in Huningue and myself and my 13 month daughter are moving to join him from the UK in September.
I am 32 and live in Kent currently. I will be looking for work in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Did u move out with your husband? Are you going to be working? Do you have any children?
Coffee sounds good when I move out next month! I am scared as a big move!

Welcome Hayley!!
I live across the border too in a tiny little village called Emlingen. It's abt 20 mins away from you West bound. I moved here to join my hubby in early July so just as newbie as you.
I'd love to meet up for a sharing-info-coffee and cake! PM me if interested.
Spicen, I've moved internationally MANY times. Don't worry, it's very stressful but nonetheless, the ride is amazing. If you need any input, you're welcome to PM me too! |

Hi
I moved to Huningue (just down the road from Saint Louis) last week to join my fiancee who has been out here for over two years already. I'd be happy to meet up for a drink or something, I don't really know many people myself either! Incidentally, there is a good Irish pub a few minutes walk from Huningue where there are often English people, which could be useful for you to know! |

Hey there seems to be quite many of us across the border - what about a frontalier's meet up?

Welcome to the area! I recently moved from Toronto to Basel with my partner who got a job with one of the major pharma firms. No kids...just a big furry one. I'm definitely in the right age range and gender categories and I would be happy to pop over for a coffee or meet-up anytime.
