New to Zug

Hey,

As my username suggests I have just moved to Zug from sunny Wales. Work brought me here but hoping to have some social life too!
I don't know a single person in Zug so would love to meet some nice people who are willing to be my friends
Would love some girls to hang out with, have dinner, cinema, cocktails and generally fun stuff.
Am also a huge ice hockey fan and intend to go to Zug games when the season begins (some friends for this would be nice too!)

Please say hello if you feel like you could fit the bill of friend!

Keira

Re: New to Zug

Welcome! Feel free to set up a social event for that ice hockey game; I'm sure a few of would join (I need to learn to like the sport, since I live above the arena!).

I heard the NY rangers are coming here this fall, actually. That'd be worth seeing!

In any case, as a single person in Zug, prepare to spend a lot of time in Zurivh (I certainly did). but it really is a great place!

Welcome to Zug - and you might not want to spend a lot of time in Zurich. There are things to do here honestly.

There are plenty of things going on and we are a very sociable bunch.

Re: New to Zug

Maybe we should set up a splinter cell for the Luzern/Zug people?

We could center our HQ at the Irish Pub in Luzern... good Fish n' Chips.

Re: New to Zug

Thanks for the welcome!
Corbets - really the NY Rangers?! I need to look into that! I'm not single, I meant I don't know any people in Zug! I plan to spend most of my time in Zug and maybe go to Zurich on the wkend and an odd week night. Hopefully there is enough in Zug to keep me busy.
I did have my first experience of Pickwicks the other night and I was surprised how busy it was. It's certainly the first time I've gone to a pub on my own! Jaybird the Irish pub sounds good too.
I've just sent my application online for the womens club so fingers crossed they would like a Welsh member!

I belong to the Zug Men's club, and there are a lot of activities:

hiking, skiing, pub night, barbecues, etc.

Hello and welcome from another Cardiffian.

I presume you know about the Cardiff/Zurich flights that started up this year. Certainly helps when going back to the homeland

Oooh I love bowling, can't promise I won't sulk a little though when the ball inevitably goes into the gutter!

Hello fellow Caiiiiirdiffian, what brings you to Zug?!

Yes I know about the flights, the times are pretty poor though, so mostly going to Birmingham at the moment.
Another one to watch wales games with!

SPB tends to score a 300 when no one is around.

There is a great group of guys and girls that bowl monthly.
