New to the forum

Hey everyone!

New to the forum, as you can tell, but not so new in Zurich any more. Been here a year and a half now doing my MA. I heard abut the forum form a friend and I'm surprised there is quite a bit of information here, would have made my life a lot easier at the beginning

Personally I found out about the forum while still living in the US when most of the immigration questions related to moving to Switzerland were answered right here, every time I asked Google.... It's funny that even the English version of Swiss government websites don't rank as high in search results as does EF.

Tatiana, I agree with you on that. Most of what I know about Switzerland is from reading on EF. Unless I search for some carefully chosen terms, I don't really come across Swiss government websites. EF is definitely a godsend from where I'm standing (or sat, rather)
