Part Time in Zurich

Hi, my name is Ronnie and I just started working in Zurich for Credit Suisse two weeks ago. I only work here Monday to Thursday each week and then go home to Hampshire to work Fridays. This means that I do manage to get to see my husband ocassionally, but also means that it is a bit difficult to try and find any social life here.

So far I have walked between my office and hotel (several times!) and have ventured onto the train to explore the centre of Zurich and the lake twice. I was a seasoned expat before I got married and so like to get out and about when I am in a new country.

I don't speak German yet, although the iPod headphones are jammed to my ears with 'how to learn a new language in 24 hours' most mornings on my walk to work .

I'm into swimming, skiing, occasional jogging, generally socialising (eating, drinking, dancing) and just don't want to spend too many lovely summer evenings sitting in my hotel room just surfing the net!
