Good Morning Switzerland!

I've arrived at last after months of planning and hanging out on this forum collecting hints & tips in preparation of my move. But despite all that I still have a long list to get through.

I'm staying with a good friend a colleague for a few days then move into a serviced apartment on Thursday in Schaffhausen.

I left behind the rain and woke up to beautiful Swiss sunshine.

Hi Swiss Astrid, I think on another post you told me there were new apartments being built in Beringen. I've just seen some on Homegate so will investigate more. It looks like there's a bus straight to my office so nice and convenient. Do you live in Beringen? If so, what's it like there?

Yes we do, been here 2 months now. We like it. We wanted to live in a small town and not be surrounded by expats as we see them everyday at school
Although we did meet a British couple and their young son who live close and the Dutch owner of the local fitness club http://www.vitalis-sh.ch/ .

I am sure for the nightlife you need to be in Schaffhausen but there it the bus and trainstation here, everything is in walking distance! Good luck househunting!
