Hi All,

I've read a lot on these boards and posted a little...but after several months, we have finally arrived in Zurich, so I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself!

My husband Robby and I (Kristen) are both in our early 30s and been married a little under a year. My job has sent me here for about 2 years. We are from the USA (Florida) so this is a very different change of pace. We are in temporary housing now and hope to find a permanent home in the next few weeks.

We enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, socializing, eating and drinking, playing games, exploring, etc. We are anxious to meet some friends and be social.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone!!

Welcome to Switzerland. Hope you settle in well and find what you want.
With your list of activities . . . I am sure you are going to find lots of friends and do a lot of socialising.
There are plenty of events on the social calender and you will find that people have a huge variety of interest.
Just taking part in some of the EF debates is an activity in itself!

Hi, Kristen. Welcome to the area. My husband and I moved here just a few weeks ago from the midwest. I am still looking for work--we live outside of Zurich and hope to move into the city in October or November.
