You should try the Institute of Mass Communication of UZH!
They throw parties a couple of times a year.

As someone said upthread, a lot of the men on EF have a little too much time on their hands and probably live in their mother's basements. Think Howard in Big Bang Theory... | Quote:

Ok, my conclusion for today: I wanted to be nice and introduce myself instead of anonymously consuming in this forum.
In return I get called undateable and dumb just because of my nationality.
I even get PMs encouraging me to pimp my friends out to certain forum users.
I feel very warm inside now, almost too warm for my icy Swiss personality. I think I will focus now on my non-existent social life with my undateable friends.
Just wondering, Phil_MCR, what's your story? I thought a minimum understanding of self-irony and sarcasm was included in the knowledge of the English language. Silly me. I will never state again that I was anything close to smart or educated. I'll do it the Swiss way from now on. Understating, unapproachable and keeping the fun stuff to myself and my evil minions, hiding all the nice girls from you. | The following 6 users would like to thank manny calavera for this useful post:

Now that you got the typical newbie welcome sorted, we can move on.
Have fun.
And remember, different people = weirddifferent sense of humor.
You will see a lot of that of EF.

guilty on the first point. you'll have to ask chemmie whether the 2nd is due to your nationality, gender or the combination
>I even get PMs encouraging me to pimp my friends out to certain forum users.
haha. who sent you that? and who should be the beneficiaries of your largesse?

For the members who just PM in the background and act weird, i think you can handle this very well reading your posts.....just keep being tough and wild....cyberspace is a wild place to survive and EF is the worst you can get out of it.
P.S: EFers, from her first posts.....i would say, she will kick some of your white A**es ....so hold your horses to avoid embarrassment

Welcome OP (forgot your name already ). Being a lady here on EF you need to be able to deal with some harmless banter. When people are sending you PM's (personal messages) though this is definately crossing the line as far as I am concerned !
Manners gentlemen, manners !

haha. who sent you that? and who should be the beneficiaries of your largesse? | | | | | *raises hand* Although I only meant "pimp out" in the sense of introduce, not in a bad way. I wasn't to be the beneficiary though, I hasten to say, I simply suggested that one EFer who has posted in this thread is a nice, intelligent, bloke (you could all be, for all I know... however unlikely that is).
