Hi everyone :) I'm a guitarist and teacher in Basel

Hi all!

I'm Michael, I arrived and settled in Basel since 2009, so I'm now very new in Switzerland but only now found out about this great forum! So I thought, it's never too late to introduce myself!

I'm a professional guitarist and an experienced teacher (playing since age 15, and teaching since 2000 in music schools and conservatories). Over the years I've specialized in classical guitar music, and now I'm here to further study early music and explore the repertoire of all kinds of lutes and early guitars from the Renaissance and Baroque. Basel is a perfect city for me. It allows me to focus on my studies and practice with a clear mind through the day.

So far I've been reading many interesting posts here and I'll keep following the forum's news and insights.
Thanks for a great forum and till soon!

Michael

We look forward to some discourse on use of a m7b5 chord to resolve as a rootless ninth.

Welcome man! EF makes moving to Switzerland bearable, in many ways and on so many levels! Especially if one does not have the language!
