| | Not that new to Geneva... Hi all! I'm not very new to Switzerland, and I guess not too new to EF either, having been lurking for a few months but wanted to register and officially say hi, and also thanks for all the useful information people post here! I stumbled across this place while googling for some move info, and have since found lots of great advice (and some entertainment). I'm in Geneva, and the threads on apartment hunting stories, and washroom joys are always fun to read, having been through it all (or still going through it all for laundry…!). So, a little about me, for those more curious people - I'm Irish, female, been here about 8 months, moved from London. Erm, working on my French (apparently it's better after a few drinks, but I never remember…), and I do love it over here, despite the slow service I don't miss brown sugar or the London Underground, do miss English sausages and Belgian beers (anyone know a good belgian bar in Geneva?), am very much enjoying trying out swiss food (mmmmm, cheese), and love the more outdoor lifestyle and living beside a lake Is that enough detail? Am I allowed in? Pretty please? |

Welcome to EF, glad to have another member in GVA, we're not the largest community here but defo the toughest
There's no official get together events in GVA but there's some nice members to hang out with from time to time.
Anything nightlife, partying, and fun....that would be me |

Aw, thanks both | Quote: | | | | | or is that burger and Beer(S) | | | | | Depending on the relative taste/quality of said burgers and beers, 1 beer with multiple burgers might be a good choice? Though admittedly not very healthy.
