Hi! My name is Jessica (Jess) and I will have lived in Switzerland for 4 years on Sept. 23rd. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to join this forum, but I'm hoping to learn some new things, and hopefully help out people who are new to Switzerland. My German is atrocious and I owe this to the fact that while I've been here for 4 years, I've spent half of it pregnant, and the other half taking care of babies. I have two children 12 months (son) and 3 years (daughter). BUT! now that the oven is shut down, I'm looking forward to improving my German, and doing all things "Swissy". I live in Kefikon which is a small village between Frauenfeld and Winterthur. I did live in Zurich for two years, and sometimes I do miss it. But life in the country is really never dull...I've seen and discovered things you wouldn't believe!! HA! Oh yeah, I'm from the USA, I'm a housewife now, but in the States I was a Registered Nurse.
