Honestly, I can't see why not. In fact, now that I've thought about it my best friend's mother was 25 when she married her 45 year old husband. & my uncle married for the first time when he was 60 and she was 35. He died last year at 72. They were together for 15 years. Some marriage don't last that long.

I don't think age has anything to do with it.
A 20 year age difference or more ?
I believe it's a potential recipe for heartbreak

When it comes to books, my favourite from this field, apart from C.G. Jung, who cannot be matched, would be Stanislav Grof and his research on non-ordinary states of consciousness.
There are a few others, notably Krishnamurti, but this is not my thread.
Anyway, a warm welcome to the forum!
Hi Sagitta, please be my guest. we can talk about this topic which is very interesting. I'll try to look more into these books. But, if you have some links about the books, please post them here.

Cheers!

And in many ways you're quite right. However life isn't always about taking the easy pain-free option. Whilst many of us would dearly go back and undo an event that caused us pain, some of us (well, me) believe that it's what you experience that counts.

Normally I date older women and I've had some great experiences, and some painful ones.

I know of many people with some serious age gaps in their relationship. Years ago it wasn't that common at all, but I think that people these days are slowly beginning to accept it.

At the end of the day, it's not always your decision as to who you fall in love with. As long as you're both happy with the person you find.

All relationships have their own particular pitfalls.....

Here goes:

1) All the books by Krishnamurti are available online for free.

Here's a good link: http://www.messagefrommasters.com/Eb...urti-Books.htm

2) Stanislav Grof:
