And in many ways you're quite right. However life isn't always about taking the easy pain-free option. Whilst many of us would dearly go back and undo an event that caused us pain, some of us (well, me) believe that it's what you experience that counts.

Normally I date older women and I've had some great experiences, and some painful ones.

I know of many people with some serious age gaps in their relationship. Years ago it wasn't that common at all, but I think that people these days are slowly beginning to accept it.

At the end of the day, it's not always your decision as to who you fall in love with. As long as you're both happy with the person you find.

All relationships have their own particular pitfalls.....
