Hey ive just recently moved to Monthey (2 weeks ago) to live with my Mum and her partner, my mum is natively English too but has lived here 2 years now! Im 25 years old and hoping to find a job and learn French at the same time, would love to work in one of the ski resorts over the season Anyway I just stumbled accross this sight so thought Id take a look...look forward to getting to know some of you
Hi Laura, just a quick tip, just up from you is Morgins, which is usually quite a busy ski resort once you get to peak season, or a better bet may be Chatel, just over the border, with the strong CHF a lot of people will migrate to the French resorts for the coming season. I have a couple of contacts in the British ski school there if it helps (that's if you are after a ski/board tutor position). If bar work I know most of them in Chatel as well!!

Oh, by the way, in Zurich there are more bars and hotels and more fun. Here is were you should be looking for work. Also, most people speak very good English.

Re: hi :)

Zurich is a long way from where my Mum is and as she is one of the reasons I moved over here I wouldnt want to go too far! There are quite a few Ski Resorts near me... ive sent my CV in to a few places and my stepfathers friend who works in recruitment is looking for me also.
