Welcome... and best of luck with learning French!
I wish I 'had' to learn French instead of German. French is soooo much prettier! | This user would like to thank Pancakes for this useful post:

I think French is prettier but typically I took German at School so it would probably of been easier for me to pick that up again, as everyone speaks French round here Ill have to get learning |

tell me about it! i moved to Lausanne one week ago on an exchange programme from the UK. My french is awkward at best but I'm aiming to improve it. Every German (and Swiss German) speaks better English than I do and I'm from the south of England! It's a relief though cos although I could pick up French, I find German very difficult

Hi, I'll add my welcome. Personally I prefer German to French, and Swiss-German to both ... sadly, I'm not yet fluent in any of the three (although getting there in German & Swiss-German!). If only my Dad had spoken French at home while I was a child, I'd be at least able to communicate in it ... sad that a language can be lost in two generations! | Quote: | | | | | haha im sure you cant be that bad | | | | | Some of us are ... just be careful which product you ask for help to find, that's all I'm saying ... | This user would like to thank araqyl for this useful post:
