Hi y'all

Alright, I already posted a few times on this forum and I start to like it and want to introduce myself. I'm a born Austrian men who got the Swiss citizenship as I was 16 years old. Of course I made the base training in the Swiss Army also the second step as a corporal. I moved in 2003 to the US for a Swiss company which doesn't exist anymore b/c the owner passed away last year. Anyhow, also I was self-employed and worked in the diesel performance. We did some landspeed racing on the salt flats also some drag racing and truck pulling. But the newest development is that I got hired by a big German Automotive company and will travel back and fourth, and see my family regularly again.

I hope we have some good discussions here on the forum and later

and yes I love

Re: Hi y'all

Welcome to the gang. "Y'all" doesn't sound like SE Wisconsin, though. Never mind.

I'm a part-time Michigander, actually born and bred Swiss, but often in the Grand Traverse Area on the eastern side of Big Blue because my OH, a deported Detroiter, lives there whenever she isn't visiting the Alps. So we are transatlantic commuters, sort of.

By the way, only a few weeks ago I mentioned Lake Geneva on this forum, mainly because it's only a few miles from Lake Como.

Enjoy our forum, it's fun. No, sometimes it really is.

Captain Greybeard
(Just call me Captain)
